Sumba Style is an online catalog of distinctive textiles, handicrafts and goods from the Indonesian Island of Sumba, home to one of the world's last intact Animist cultures.
We aim to enhance income opportunities, particularly for the women of Sumba, by establishing markets abroad for unique Sumbanese products. Our goal is to start small market economies in remote parts of the island, and in so doing, set in motion the beginnings of the end of poverty on Sumba.
